How to Store Your Pooch Cakes
How do I store my cake?
To keep your dog cake as fresh as possible, we recommend it to be stored in the fridge and taken out 15-20 mins prior to serving.
How long can our Pooch Cakes keep for?
Our dog cakes do not contain any preservatives or additives, and are best consumed within 7 days of receiving. During this time, the cake should be kept in the fridge as our cakes contain egg and dairy.
If you would like to keep it longer, it is best placed in the freezer, and can be kept up to 2 weeks.
For cakes that contain fresh fruit: strawberries or blueberries, it is recommended to be eaten within 5 days of being kept in the fridge.
All fresh fruit naturally wilts and waters down over time.
How do I travel with my Pooch Cakes?
If you are travelling to and fro somewhere, place the cake in an esky or cooler bag.
Cakes also travel better by being placed flat on the floor than on seats.
